Topics to be discussed
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss using the proposed Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) Drinking Water State Revolving Funds (DWSRF) Project No. FS010122-17 application for funding consideration of the CAW Lead Service Line Replacement project.

  • The project involves pipe replacement due to aging infrastructure and will allow CAW to reduce water loss and flushing, improve water flow and pressure characteristics and remove potential lead-containing lines.
  • The project will focus on the inspection and replacement of water service lines, performing predictive modeling to support Lead Service Line (LSL) identification and conducting a technology pilot to identify inspection options.
  • This meeting will be a public informational meeting providing project overview, funding, and a period of question and answers.
