Pumps & Systems showcases the historic site
By John Matson
Central Alabama Water’s Cahaba Museum and Conference Center is featured in the February issue of a national magazine.
Pumps & Systems interviewed museum coordinator Denecia Stinson to understand the history of the site and how it benefits the community today.

“We’re thrilled that a national publication in the water industry took note of our museum and conference center,” said Stinson. “This is one of the most unique venues in central Alabama.”
The question-and-answer style article was written by Dillan Wright, managing editor of Pumps & Systems. It explores the history of the site, notable exhibits in the museum and interesting stories.
“We encourage everyone to visit, take a tour and see firsthand how something built over 130 years ago still impacts the way our region lives and grows,” Stinson told Wright.
Pumps & Systems began in 1993 and serves as a resource for the pump and rotating industry. It is a part of Cahaba Media Group.
